Hey guys, i'm new to this website and wanted to share another site i've found really useful. I managed to track down the press release to give you guys a better description of what it offers then I could!! Really recommend a look in, it gives some great tips for beginners through to the more experienced!! It also allows you to watch coverage of these events online. It acts as a porthole, similar to youtube, but of better quality. A friend of mine is sending in his mountain biking vidoes to them at the moment, so for any of you interested in getting your videos posted on a sports site dedicated to your sport this is the place!! Anyway, hope you all enjoy it as much as I have!!...

London 18 June 2008. Simply Sports Media today announce the official launch of Breaksweat TV (www.breaksweat.tv), an online TV channel dedicated to extreme and endurance sports. The channel will be available for free and will cover a broad range of sports including mountain biking, adventure racing and rock climbing in short-form 3-5 minute programmes.
BreakSweat TV will sit alongside Simply Sports Media’s existing portfolio of online sports channels which include GolfBug TV and SnowZone. These channels already attract big name brands such as Mizuno, Jaguar and Setanta, and have affiliate partnerships in place with titles such as Golf International and Sport.co.uk.
The channel will showcase content acquired from expert producers and professional sports events from around the globe; this will sit alongside footage shot specifically by an in-house production team. Programmes will be categorised into nine sections including, travel, canoeing, training tips and special features.
Simply Sports Media is a division of Simply Media, a company that has over three years experience within the web TV domain and an impressive portfolio of more than 25 digital channels, including 6 on satellite and cable. Henry Scott, CEO of Simply Media said “We have spent the past three years building up a strong and successful portfolio of women’s interest web TV channels, we now work with clients including Boots, Borders, MSN and Nestle. Having ventured into the men’s interest arena we have seen similar success with GolfBug TV, and now hope to continue this with exciting and engaging content that BreakSweat has to offer.”
“Endurance based sport, expeditions and challenges are some of the most visually exciting activities out there, and due to this we saw an excellent opportunity to touch a large audience via the Internet. By offering this content free online we allow our users the easiest access to the content they want when they want it” commented Andrew Cooke, Managing Director of Simply Sports Media.
