THE MUDPACKERS CHARITY RIDE
4th – 9th June 2011
11 riders along with 2 support drivers are cycling the arduous 232 mile Welsh coast to coast, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support
The ride will begin in Conwy, North Wales and will finish in Swansea on the southern coast of Wales; the vast majority of the ride will be off road on local bridleways and will encompass a few of the single track centres. It will be divided into 6 days; an average of 38.5 miles per day, with a lot of the epic riding being covered this will require the riders to be competent with map and compass skills.
Day 1:- Conwy - Ffestiniog 36miles
Day 2:- Ffestiniog - Machynlleth 50miles
Day 3:- Machynlleth - Devils Bridge 25miles
Day 4:- Devils Bridge - Builth Wells 49miles
Day 5:- Builth Wells - Brecon 36miles
Day 6:- Brecon - Swansea 36miles
