| This ride was chosen by myself (Dazza) as i have heard so much about it. I woke up Saturday morning and really wished i had not said anything, the weather was the worst i have ever seen it., but i was determined to complete this ride. There was the 4 of us this very very very wet September morning. Myself, Des, Craig and George. The ride itself is 26 1/2 miles long and challenging but fantastic. The weather didn't help as it rained very hard for 3 hours. Comment of the day was Gearge was telling me how fit he was and he was the fitest in Barnoldswick, but George...wasn't it you that fell over in a puddle with cramp and Daddy had to help you? Remember the story of the 2 Bulls!!! And the Blue Peter badge goes to Dazza who helped Craig get back to the car park after having ripped his tyre, I filled the trye and stopped the tube popping out with bubble wrap!! Des wins the Navigator of the year............think we should call him, Trail Hunter. Excellent ride was had by all. |
