We have booked the Rolls Royce Sports & Leisure Club from 1-30pm till
late, we have 8 -9 local bands who have generously agreed to play throughout the day for what will be a fantastic feast of music, all the proceeds will be added to the monies raised from our Scottish C2C. We intend to sell the tickets for the gig at £7-00 each. I will update the site when tickets are due to go on sale, & we will reveal who the bands are when I have full confirmation.
Friday 12th December
It was the Christmas party......most of all ascended to the Carlos Italian restaurant in Colne for fun and frivolities. It was a really good night we was noisy as usual (mostly me) A few things have been highlighted about that night….like most of the blokes that was there we was told by our partners we was too loud, like myself and Craig, George ‘the cheeky kid’ was drunk and was permanently put in the red my his mum, who had an admirer from a member of the Mudpackers…I wonder who that was????? Apparently our very own celebrity Big Bob……big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob big bob, cannot handle his beer and was sick all in his bed and slept in it……..nice one!!!!
Everyone had a good night and roll on the curry night in January (men only to discuss the charity ride) BUT if the partners want to attend then they will be initiated into the club (dodgy left legs, weird handshakes and shaved heads) and you will be driving the support vehicles and carrying our bags along the coast to coast.
Friday 1st February Cantonese in Glusburn and then the White Bear
A good night was had by all. The food was excellent and Paul got a good suprise with his present from the mudpackers, the video will follow shortly. After the meal we all went into the White Bear, very good pub......but sadly Ash wasn't very well and threw up all in the gents toilets....well done Ash!! Des the editor had a lucky escape and was a good boy and went home... (haha he did have to ensure Ash got home) the rest of us were led astray by Rory who subjected us to the "Zebras" in Colne, the Chav'ist place on the planet..... A good night was had by all....when is the next one Rory????
Its my Birthday!!! The Creche!!
